We Welcome Our Director, Nelly Castillo

Nelly Castillo is excited to be the Director of Totland College! 

Her love of teaching combined with a passion for making the classroom a dynamic, engaging and enriching learning experience promotes a learning environment full of science, fun and imagination.  She is currently finishing her Early Childhood Education degree in the fall of 2023, is fluent in Spanish and English, (she grew up in Guatemala), and can’t wait to bring her joy of learning and fun to Totland College –  Welcome Nelly to the Totland Family!


Mrs Mary Clark, Lead Teacher

She has a BA from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University, St. Paul. 

Mrs. Clark’s expertise in differentiated instruction for children of varied abilities helps each child grow in an incredible love of learning.  Her most recent position was as a Pre-K teacher at Sacred Heart School in Weymouth, and we are excited to have her also join our Totland Family!

Mrs. Clark has over 23 years experience as a Teacher for both preschool and pre-kindergarten.  Mrs. Clark’s expertise in differentiated instruction for children of varied abilities helps each child grow in an incredible love of learning.  Her most recent position was as a Pre-K teacher at Sacred Heart School in Weymouth, and we are excited to have her as part of our Totland Family!


Mrs, Nimia (Vanessa) Iraheta, Assistant Teacher

Mrs. Iraheta, brings a love of education, music and care to Totland College!  She graduated from the Technological University of El Salvador, continuing her education in early childhood, children’s language, development and behavior skills, as well as BBC, Boston, MA.  She has implemented educational activities that promote quality teaching, fostering a fun and warm atmosphere where children play and learn while strengthening skills in areas of fine/gross motor development.   Welcome to our Totland Family Mrs. Iraheta!
